Pipeline Trail is a 6 mile out-and-back trail near the city of Colorado Springs. This trail is pretty rocky in parts and it winds through dense forests, ever once in awhile opening up into a aspen covered field. You can sneak in some views of the surrounding mountains when the tree cover breaks. <br />
Please share the path with mountain bikers and dirt bikers.
Look up the directions to the Jones Park trail. They share the same trailhead. From where you park your shuttle vehicle (if you shuttled--highly recommended), instead of taking trail 701 to the left, go straight down trail 668--this is the pipeline trail.
